SMART Goals

SMART Goals: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely 

Suggestions for 2017-18

Student Learning Goal

  1. By Spring 2018, ______% of students will have moved up at least one level (ie. from ‘beginning’ to ‘developing’, or ‘developing’ to ‘established’) in at least 3 domains on the K0/K1 or K2 rubrics.

Professional Practice Goal

1. (Curriculum, Assessment, and Planning)

I will use the K0/K1 or K2 rubric to assess student learning and plan for appropriate next instructional steps. These steps will be based on the Focus on K0/K1 and Building Blocks curricula and Focus on K2. 

By December 2017 I will have observed at least _____% of children in my classroom at least 2 times in at least 3 domains using the K0/K1 or K2 rubric. I will demonstrate adjustments to practice based on information gained through observations. 

2. (Professional Practice)

By December 2017 I will present student work to colleagues (ie. at CPT) ______ times in order to plan for appropriate next instructional steps. I will demonstrate adjustments to practice based on colleagues’ feedback.
